Great thing about being based out of Los Angeles is that there is always something new happening. Whether it's a pop up, new street art or a newly opened spot LA is filled with hidden gems and today we're sharing two places you must visit during the month of May.

Ice cream museum

Just when we thought art installations couldn't become anymore fun and interesting, an ice cream museum popped up just a few blocks away from the popular polka dot wall of LA. Shortly after the doors were open it became one of the most Instagrammable places. The museum was created for adults to feel like kids again, the little ones to have fun with colorful installations and for all to try out different flavored ice cream.

Fun facts:

  • Every room has things you can eat or smell
  • Pool of sprinkles that's filled with 100 million sprinkles you can jump into
  • Ice cream museum has it's own Walk Of Fame -- the ice cream flavor, of course
  • Some of rooms include: popsicle jungle, the gummy room and even a room full of bananas which includes 10,000 bananas

Hauser & Wirth gallery

It's fair to say in LA we love pink, whether it's a cone of ice cream, matcha with a pink straw or an art installation, pink seems to be the color of LA at the moment and it's sure full of it.

Fun facts:

  • One of the rooms include an unexpected surprise -  a chicken farm
  • Museum is free for all and visitors tend to spend up to 1.5hrs at the gallery
  • Jason Rhoades is a very famous artist known for his installations, Hauser & Wirth
  • Main room  has hanging neon lights and signs off the ceiling by a very famous artist - Jason Rhoades, known for his installations
